Hi,
I would like to build a website where users of different levels(Admin, user, others) would have to login to access different pages and functions. I don't have a clue about how to do that. Any suggestion or link to tutorials would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

YOu will need to use a server-side scripting language (you would need to use a host that supports it). There are different languages you can use: PHP, ASP, Python, JSP, etc. I would suggest PHP. Depending upon the level of functionality you might also need to use a database - most likely MySQL. There is a lot to learn. You could go and find a PHP, MySQL tutorial to get an understanding of the process.

You can do it easily using a Content Management System like Xoops or Joomla which allows you to set different permissions to registered members.

Note: I am not recommending any specific CMS and neither am I very experienced in CMS. Many other CMS may also have similar functionality but I cannot say which is most suitable for you.
