Just registered with go.daddy and have no clue where to begin - no clue as to what of the services they are trying to sell are necessary. Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated!

What were you trying to do when you registered? They offer many services, from web hosting to simple domain registration. SO....what do you want to do? The services are only necessary if you want/need them. And only you can answer that.

Hi, as with any web hosting provider, if you intend to create a website, you have several options. You can create your own web pages and then load it to your hosting, or utilize your web hosting provider's services to create a website for you. What are your goals now that you have established your account?

Hi, are you seeking to set up a website on your hosting provider? If so, typically you have two choices with the hosting provider. Your hosting provider may offer services and templates to produce a site for you.

Or if you are seeking to design and develop your own website, then a web site development tool like Dreamweaver can be helpful in saving you time because you don't have to code everything by hand. No matter what web development tool you utilize, you will need to create or outsource/purchase the web site design aspects such as the images, layout, font styles, navigation, and etc. Now, if you are planning to develop a web site 100% in Flash, then you would need a Flash development tool.
