images load partially or not at all

hey, im running apachee 2.0.49 and lately when i view any hosted pics under any browser (ie, ff, opera, ns), the images either load half way, not at all, or appear somewhat scrambled. Im assuming this is a problem with the apache server. Pressing refresh is like rolling dice, random images show up completely loaded. I got some friends to look at some images from their computers and the images look messed up to them too. When i view the images locally under windows they load fine. I have restarted the server/computer, ran a system restore, and the images are still messed up. Does someone know what the problem is? By the way, this started happening right after i removed some zombie-ware Thanks for any help, --Jake
