I don't see how we can give you any help without actually seeing the problem. Post the page to the free webspace your ISP gives you and post the link.

I did not experience the problem you described. But, I did notice the following in the code for your header image:

1) Youhave no content in the header image cell
2) You have no closing TD tag for the header image table
3) The header table has a height of 100, but the header cell has a height of 90 (I suspect that this is causing the problem you see)

Here are my suggestions:

1) Fix the header image table by putting a non-breaking space in the cell " "
2) Put in a closing TR tag.
3) Make the height of the table & cell the same

I have no idea about vdeck. But looking at the action in your form tag is is a CGI script. If you have FTP access to the actual file, download a copy to your desktop and open it up. There should be instructions on how to configure everything to work.

Does anyone else think it's ironic that someone offering "Affordable Web Design" would need help with their own webpage?

Guys, its a project, thats it, im trying to learn, instead of putting up some retarded site with pics and words that have no relevance i decided to do this, I know you two were probably born with these skills and probably live in the basement of your mothers houses and wonder every day what girls are actually like in person, but some of us have to learn. So I apologize if I was wrong in asking a question, I thought this was a site for learning not somewhere to be critisized

My apologies, Show. I never meant to offend you, however, your statement that the domain name wasn't yet active made it sound as though this was intended to be a permanent site. There was nothing in your post to suggest otherwise. Now, knowing that you are just learning, I must say that you've done some fine work. By all means, ask your questions but, give some indication that the pages you are working on are part of your studies.

As for your personal attack, I'm a 44 year old, twice-married father of four who learned HTML a long time ago by coding in Notepad. None of these HTML editors that do it all for you. As an Aussie, I'd like to point out that very few Australian houses have basements. And, by the way, I'll bet that I've had more "girls" than you've had breakfasts.

I can only laugh because that last thing about the breakfasts was funny, Maybe I should have been more thorough in my explanation of what I am doing, so I apologize for that, but come on man even if that is not the case you can discourage a person real easy by saying that in this forum, I only code in html, I have played with front page but I do not like it, i perfer to have all the power, and I must respond to the girl thing by saying youve got 16 years on me so you might have a wee bit more expierience but i doubt it on the whole girls part, I said girls not kangaroos.......

just kidding man, thanks for the compliment, I apologize for the personal attack.

You may be right, and had I realised that you were only learning, I wouldn't have said it. The last thing I'd want to do is stifle your creativity. Judging by your work, you have the potential to be an outstanding professional in your chosen field. Keep up the good work.

On the other hand, had you been intending for the site to provide an income, my comment may have prompted you to brush up on your skills before offering such a service.

And don't knock the 'roos. Them babies know how to bounce. LOL.
