Internet Explorer will not recognize when I update a webpage. I upload to my server and I refresh and refresh. It still show the old page. It will show it fire fox instantly. In IE I clear the temp files and cookies thing that will help. It still show the old page.

I get that a lot too; at times, it seems defiant on loading a new page and would rather use a cached copy instead... :|
There's probably a better solution out there, but what I've typically done is go into tools => internet options; on the general tab, click on "settings" and then click the "every visit to the page" option.
Doing that slows down the browser a lot though, so I wouldn't recommend keeping that setting if you use IE as a primary browser.
Hopefully, that will help you check your updates... I know all too well how frustrating it can be.
Good luck.

My work in progress. I hate JS. :P

Thanks for the reply. its very frustrating. I update the page. But others seem to think I have not. I found out if you type the the full address of the updated page in the address bar it pulls it up.
If you use the address that you saved link in your favorites or short cut you can sit there all day and refresh and it will not pull it up. arrrggghhThanks again

I have the SAME exact problem. Your post actually helped me to resolve the issue but I only went to options in IE 7 and deleted Temporary internet files.
Wish there was another way because now I have created my own site using a third party web designer (freewebdesign offered by doteasy.com) and would love to know that when I update and publish pages that the changes are instantaneous.
