Hi.
I think i have a rare error.
I used to right click on a link/file to get the regular download (Save/open option) on internet explorer 6, but now whenever i try to right click the link, it starts downloading instead.
I don't know where it's beeing downloaded to, because i can't choose where ??

Can somebody help me to get back the save/open dialog box, it seems to be missing ??

Thanks

Not rare at all.

My Computer... Tools... Folder Options...File Types.

Scroll down to the extension type of the file type your trying to download (.zip/exe ect)

Click the Advanced button... Check "Confirm open after download"...

Fixed.

Before, whenever I wanted to save some good articles from web page/browser, I saved many things I don't like also, like advertisement bar, web-site category and so on. You know, the browser can only save the whole page for you. :(

What I want exactly is just the article content! Later, I got a way -
1) Select what I want from web page.
2) Ctrl+C to copy it,
3) Launch Word, Notepad or whatever edit application,
4) Ctrl+V to paste my selection to the editor,
5) Save the new content of the editor to some place in my pc,
6) Close the editor.
It's good but I have to repeat the steps again and again.......

So, one day, I decided to do a program to just save what I want.

OK. That's it - easy Web Save. It only saves what you have selected to HTML Complete(include iamges), HTML Text Only, Plain Text or even MS Word/RTF. Now, I published it at http://www.easyWebAction.com/. You can download if for free. Please have a look and let me know if you like it...

Of course, if you don't like it, please also let me know. Maybe, I can improve it to meet your expectation. :)

Anyway, have a good day!

easy Web Save - Save what you select from web page to HTML, Text, MS Word, RTF easily and quickly.
