Comment:
I just finished part 1 in a online based class on basic HTML. My goal is to design my web sites from scratch and maybe a little of Front Page. Just wondering if anyone knows of a really good, ground level HTML book, or tutorial? I want to move along faster than I have been doing, but am a beginner at this.

Thanks very much.

Browse through your local library in the computer section. Usually you can find at laest 5 books on HTML, and maybe even ones with CSS.

Don't use FrontPage, It's the worst. Use Dreamweaver instead. FrontPage creates and adds to much junk and useless HTML code to your pages. Dreamweaver on the other hand, is not perfect either, but does a much better job of not adding unnecessary tags.

I have NOT lost my mind — I have it backed up on tape somewhere

Dreamweaver is better than Frontpage, without a doubt, yes.

However, pure coding in notepad is the right way to do it.
