Hi,

I have created a simple website on 50free.

It uses frame sets but when the page appears in each frame it comes up with thsi error:

[an error occurred while processing this directive] The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. [an error occurred while processing this directive] Error message:
Premature end of script headers: middlemiddle.html [an error occurred while processing this directive]

What is causing this?

Thanks,

djx,

I tried clicking on your homepage link but it requires a login to get in. Your first page (usually index.html or default.htm) should not be in a password protected folder. Create an open folder for your starting point and then direct people to your password protected areas if they want to go there. I'm guessing the protected status is also causing your frame problems but obviously that's just a guess since i can't even get to your front page.

good luck,
wiredsj

That error message usually occurs if you are trying to run a server-side includes (SSI) command on the page. Check that host allows SSI and cgi-bin, if not, then do they allow php, which could used replace the pull with php includes?

If SSI is allowed, make sure you are using .shtml file extension for all pages with SSI content? Note where it involves a frameset, the framed pages must also be .shtml to work.

Alternatively, are you using execute-set .html pages, making sure you have the xbithack turned on for each one? (If that was over your head, you probably aren't using it.)
