Reply: (edit)yes, many times as far as im concerned ive edit the conf file to allow .htaccess in accoradance to the apache documentation and have read tutorials on creating a .htaccess & .htpasswd file everythin is right, but it just wont work if any one could check over my conf file... that wud be great Sign Me Guestbook!jaymc.co.nr

Reply: (edit)ive followed tutorials to configure the conf file, and have create the .htaccess & .htpasswd files i've actually posted something similar to this like a week ago. it wont let me log in. i put the name in correctly and the password in their appropriate places and still it doesnt work. i've even tried doing it with a some other info that other sites have givin me, it wont work. so sorry i cant help ya, maybe apache is being dumb. are you using easyphp 1.7?
