yes, many times as far as im concerned ive edit the conf file to allow .htaccess in accoradance to the apache documentation and have read tutorials on creating a .htaccess & .htpasswd file everythin is right, but it just wont work if any one could check over my conf file... that wud be great Sign Me Guestbook! jaymc.co.nr

ive followed tutorials to configure the conf file, and have create the .htaccess & .htpasswd files i've actually posted something similar to this like a week ago. it wont let me log in. i put the name in correctly and the password in their appropriate places and still it doesnt work. i've even tried doing it with a some other info that other sites have givin me, it wont work. so sorry i cant help ya, maybe apache is being dumb. are you using easyphp 1.7?
