ok i'm using access to make a little program. i need to incorporate a active X calendar control. but when i go to tools>activeX controls> an active X control diaglouge box pops up and to the right is a register button. when i click on it it is looking for some kind of file. can anyone help me so i can get started with the calendar control.
This question could probably be better answered in the database Forum, but here goes. When you click on that icon, you should get The Active X Controls dialog box list. Are you clicking on the Calendar Control selection before clicking on the Register button? What "some kind of file" is this register button looking for. mscal.ocx by any chance? If you browse to the path shown, you will find that file and be able to register the control.
