well im building this webpage in Dreamweaver 2004 and i mad a password space and im wondoring how i can link that to my FTP folder when i type in the right password???? anybody know please tell me!

In Dreamweaver, click on "site" on the menu at the top, then click "edit sites". Highlight your site (if you have more than one) and click "edit". You'll see 2 tabs... basic & advanced. You can use either...
In "Basic".... choose FTP as your method of connection from the dropdown list. Then you'll be able to enter your ftp info and you username, password, etc.
In "Advanced", highlight "remote info" and select FTP from the "access" dropdown list. You can now enter your info.
Either way will allow you to perform a test to see if you can connect.
I hope this helps...
