i have a new singles.com and have already spent WAY more than i anticipated.is the a free script that will REALLY get me on google and maybe other search engines?please help.

if only it were that simple ... to get 'found' on google and other search engines, your web site needs to be search engine optimised of which there are 2 flavours: on-page optimisation and off-page optimisation - on-page optimisation deals with making sure your web site is set up in a way that will 'please' search engines and that targets the keywords you want to target - off-page optimisation deals with getting quality backlinks to your site ie. links on other sites back to yours you also will need to submit your site to search engines as if they cant find you or know that you exist, they cant place you in their results i suggest you do online research on 'on-page optimisation', 'off-page optimisation', and 'search engine submission' as i cannot deal with all these here as they are BIG topics hope this helps serge Keep mentally active. That's only one piece of the optimization process. There are a few things that you can do yourself to get your site higher up in the search rankings that have been mentioned above. These don't require much technical skills, just a tiny bit of your time and patience. If you haven't done so already: 1) Insert properly labeled meta data tags on each web page of your site 2) Write the content on your web pages to contain the exact keywords that you wish to be found via search 3) Manually submit your website URL to search engines...start off with Google...Hint: Do not submit multiple times to Google within a short time frame or it could backfire on you

The trouble is filtering out the good and the bad information.
