Hi. I am hosting a website on my local machine using Apache 2.0 on my Windows 2003 box. I have a domain name that I registered already.
I would like to get that domain name to point to my website on my local box. My IP is dynamic. I realize I need a DNS update client... but most of the ones I have came across like dyndns.org, etc only allow for their hostnames but not for user defined host names...
Is there a free solution to this problem? Or do I have to shell out 20.00+ dollars in addition to the money already spent?
Although it implies that it is a trial, they give you five credits. Each credit can be spent on one domain. Luckily, you're only using one domain so this will do fine.
An example of a site that I know which uses this service is www.cowbags.co.uk.
