Just saw this fantastic web design site and thought I would share it with those of you interested in a really well designed site. It has great graphics, sound & layout. I'd say just about everything in it is great, including the fact that they are members of the
International Webmasters Association.
Here's the site if anyone cares to visit it:
Web Architects, Inc.

Sorry abou the double post, but:
$1195
Our basic package for those clients wanting to take an initial foray onto the Internet:1 – 3 pages of HTML
Up to 5 additional scanned images graphically enhanced and web optimized
First year hosting available at $150
2 grand for a 3 page website?Poor Stevie. They never did find his head.

>> Is this a joke?
Ya, the joke would be on anyone dumb enough to sign up for any of their services, especially those outragously over priced packages. The owners of that site would be laughing all the way to the bank.
As for their layout, to me it's fairly basic/simplistic. At least they are consistant in the layout of the limited amount of artwork that they're using.

I never said anything about the prices of the services they offer. I only commented on the graphics, sound and layout of the website. In other words, website design, or as this forum refers to it as: web developement. I think the prices are outrageous myself but they have a very good presentation of it. Alot better than some that think their site is the greatest there is. It's just my opinioin.

Sigh.
I don't even know if anyone is going to read this reply.
The index page annoys me. It is a completely different colour scheme to the rest of the site. Times New Roman makes it look amateur. There should be an automatic flash detect script so you can either get straight to the intro or be redirected to a page telling you you need the flash player.
The font on the content pages is too big and bold. The links on the right shold have the hover image preloaded. Why they have a link to the index page is beyond me, I mean after all, we've only just come from there.
Being prominent in Flash 5 does not make me want to use them. I had flash 5 about 4 years ago. Flash MX 2004 is what they should be using.
The image on the services page takes too long to load.
$150 per month to get 5 hours of updates? Nuts to that, if it's not offered free I'm going with someone else.
The margins on every page are different. Not very professional.
The liston the webdesign package doesn't even match up with the bullets.
Sorry for all this negative talk, I just got put off by the ludicrous prices when they couldn't even do their own site properly.
Poor Stevie. They never did find his head.
