FTP - Too many files

Specs: Windows XP, ????

I have an account on a server, with a directAdmin panel.
I also have FTP access. The server has open_basedir and safemode on.

I have a folder with contains a very large amount of files. about 13,000.

I need to delete this folder.

The problem is that I can't access it via FTP (whenever I try to delete it, the FTP client first tries to list it - and then disconnects because of a "timeout". Tried with FlashFXP and FireZilla).

I also tried to delete it via directAdmin, but he can't load the files module - "Too many files, timeout".

Is there any way I could solve it and delete this folder completely? I don't have SSH access or something like that.

Thanks, Daniel.

use FTP Management from your directAdmin panel if that didn't work try contacting the server admin and ask them to remove your files. You can also try downloading them one by one ! Hope that helps
