Dreamweaver is a more advanced program, aswell as being industry standard

if you know how to use dreamweaver, use it

if not front page would be a more novice approach

Not only that, frontpage requires a bunch of extra stuff to be installed on the server. Unix has an implementation of these files (which is strange, frontpage being a windows deal), but with my experience, it never works right.

I'm anti-frontpage heheh. But if you don't have those files, you can't build in frontpage anyways =)

I'd definatly go for Dreamweaver if you already know your way around in HTML.
True its more of an advanced approach and could easily confuse a novice....but the results are much much better.

Frontpage i find is a pain in the neck. Only people who never did web-design or the like before should really use it....and than only until they know enough to dumb frontpage in the trash. Extension files are also just a pain.

My advice: Go to your closest PC shop and get yourself the Macromedia Studio MX 2004 suite (ok maybe a lil costly but its worth it believe me)
Cheers,

Dreamweaver, is...alot better
Frontpage has incorect code, and creates problems. Notepad is also good
