Flash websites and possible virus threats

Specs: Macintosh
I wonder if someone can please help me with this. I just bought a flash website template (from a trusted source) but need some modifications done. I was thinking of outsourcing this eg to India. The question is: is there any danger, that (worst case) someone may hide a virus, trojan etc. in one of the files which then could damage
a) the server where the site is hosted
b) one of the websites visitors (infect their pc) or
c) even exploit passwords etc.
If so, is there any sort of protection around? Scanning all files with antivirus sofware?

Thanks for your help.

Hi, there's always a risk whether you outsource it locally, abroad or even do it yourself. For your peace of mind, you might want to consider a local, reputable vendor in your area to do the modifications where the reach of the law is more easily enforceable should you run into problems with their work.
