Hi
I'm trying to find out how i can link buttons from within flash to an external source such as a Word doc. I'm using Flash 5 and need to create a button that will open any file or website (given the script has the correct location in it of course).

Reply:
Convert to a symbol and use actionscript's OpenURL() function, its all point and click.
Just right click on the frame and it should be in there.

Sorry, i missed out something vital in that question. I know how to create buttons and link them in Flash and produce a fully working HTML page...but the buttons do not work if i export the project as an .exe!
Do you know how to achieve this?
Thanks
