Hi, I'm find it difficult to find anything on this. All i want is to create a effect of really fine pixels over another graphic...a bit like the opening page at the website www.2advanced.com which is totally cool!
I have tried drawing squares and dots in paint and making them really small and using that as a tiled background but it looks naff. What i'm looking for is the digital surface look. It's really hard to explain what i mean, that is why i've had a hard time finding out how to do it!
If you know what i mean, and you think you could help, maybe you could call the A-Te.....sorry....erm, please let me know!

You're going to want a better image editing program than Paint. I'm not too familiar with some of the better freeware programs, I use Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop. But, any good image editing program with have tools to do what you are looking for.

That graphic has had a halftone filter applied. Most image editing programs should have this filter (but not Paint). Please let us know if you found someone's advice to be helpful.
That or some type of texture effect. I was able to simulate that look with a couple of different textures in PSP. Michael J

Nope....I'm still struggling to find any effect. I have PSP5 and have been playing around with this but with no luck. Can anyone guide me on how to do this or know of a decent tutorial anywhere?

PSP 5 is pretty old. Does it include Textures? If so, try out all the available textures. That's how I found a similar result using PSP 10. Michael J
