Some websites come up incredibly messed up and say theres errors with javascript or flash. For instance, espn.com will come up with the menu categories down the left hand side instead of across the top in plain HTML with a white background. Errors on the bottom will say things such as "espn.go.com not defined". I most definately have everything up to date and have even uninstalled/reinstalled flash and javascript.

Is it possible that my work place can block certain aspects of javascript and flash? It's driving me crazy!

I doubt your work is blocking aspects of pages. They would just block sites in general i would think. Have you tried installing flash player for that browser and see if it makes a difference. Also does it do the same thing in another browser like firefox.
