I am looking for a script (javascript or PHP) that I can insert into one of my web pages that will search the text on the page and add hyperlinks to key words. Anyone know of a script like this?

It sounds like you mean an advertisement script. Most of the scripts I could find were commercial, linking you with the company behind the venture.

You could make your own simple script using the ob_start() function in PHP. If you have a look at the example on that page, it wouldn't take much to replace the callback() function with one that loops through and replaces keywords with hyperlinks.

Which is fine, except you would have to organise people paying you for the keywords.

The keyword advertising on computing.net is provided by Tribal Fusion but personally I'd advise you go for the DIY-route. (Actually, I'd recommend you don't do it at all since it's annoying!)

Enjoy computers: use Ubuntu.
