ive running abyss server. but my ip address keeps changing. how do i get around this?
They will give you a free subdomain that points to your ip. You can run a program that updates the subdomain's ip whenever your ip changes.

Are these ip problem fixes good for everyone? I'm setting up a store with the typical catalog and shopping cart. Naturally, SSL is in the mix. I may decide to serve my own SMTP and POP3 as well. Not to mention that I have to set up a DMZ firwall with 1 or more proxy server(s).
Can no-ip and others be a solution for someone like myself.
Because my site is critical to my business, my gut tells me to pay the extra nickel for the fixed ip dsl or cable. However, I just had to ask: Am I right?
