I created a drop down menu in fireworks and added the html file to my web page in dreamweaver, when viewing the page the menu doesn't show propper, the drop down works fine but the links you scroll over go black when the background for mouse oever is set to grey. hmmm... i dont know the difference between up and over, but both images are the same thing. i dont know anything else about that mumbo jumbo, but you also need an OnMouseOut, which should be the default settings of the BG and font color. i think you did your drop-down menu buttons wrong.

just to let you know, that its kind of annoying seeing that when you go over one of the links on the menu, on the status bar it 'downloads' the pictures everytime and then when it DLs the 2 images(for some reason there are 2),the pointer goes from looking like a finger, back to the arrow. it seems unprofessional. when you get some more time to mess with the site, i'd advise to fix those buttons to perfect.

Yea it was fine when I previewed it in dreamweaver, so I uploaded the files (after deleting the old ones) and had a look, now the images dont show when ur mouse is over a button, instead its just a plain background.

Yet when I previewed it in dreamweaver it worked fine showing the images propper and not loading em twice etc..?
