Well, it is to do with domain registry.
if I order Private whois service when I register a domain, should I be worried about my ownership of the domain as they put their own name and contact detail?

ofcourse they clearly mention that unlike other private registries, I will retain the complete ownership and management of my domain.

thank you

If you opt for private Whois information the ownership is just left blank.

You retain control of the domain under all circumstances. All the domain name registrar controls is the name.

The option to to have Whois information withheld is only open to individuals. Trading organisations have to show ownership information.

Your ownership of domain is never affected for using whois privacy. It always remains with you, unless you break their TOS.
