Do you think you could color change your page# after clickin

November 12, 2012 at 20:22:33
Specs: Windows XP, 4gig

The above bothers me. I really like to look through your web site but its hard to know were you are after a few page clicks. The real problem I am having is I run out of memory on just about any web site and I can't locate the drain on my resources. I've downloaded some freeware apps but most don't clean the ram or pagefile before a crash. Any bat file that might pinpoint my problem and offer me a solution would be grealty appreceated(sp)

Thank You

With 4GB RAM you should not be getting any RAM problems at all unless some of the RAM is no longer working (Check Control Panel >> System to see how much RAM Windows has detected).

If your hard drive is getting full though, that will reduce the amount of "virtual memory" that's available to Windows and will generally slow everything down.

Another cause could be a bad malware infection which is eating up your computer's resources. Buy a good malware scanner (eg Norton Antivirus -- not a free one they all have weaknesses).

But even Norton can miss some types of malware. Get advice from the malware forum here: http://www.computing.net/forum/secu...
