Comment:

I signed up with a free host to test out/configure a new script, but now I have a problem: my host has no smtp server. The script needs one in order to function, so I'm looking for a way around this.

Is there any way to specify a different smtp server than what the host has configured? (Which is none.)

Thanks in advance.

Generally yes. Since you decided not to specify what kind of script (i.e. language) and did not provide any code, that's all I can offer.

Damn, I was in a rush.

Anyway, it's a php script. What kind of code do you want? It just looks for the smtp server specified in the php.ini file, no?
