A client of mine needs my help for content editing.
They are making use of Mambo.

How do I start (editing and uploading)?

edit what? if it's the content then that's a content management systems are for :D just do everything from http://themambosite/administrator/

if you want to create layouts, then first you edit:

/mambodirectory/templates/templatename/index.php

including the css file for that file

if you want to add scripts, you can hardcode them into the template or by creating modules (so it's manageable thru the /administrator page)

here're some readings about mambo templating:

also on http://www.google.com/search?q=mambo+template+tutorial
