Hello, i'm doing this page for a client. He's a singer. When i click on a song to hear it, no problem for the pop-up flash player but, the content keeps going back to the top of the page. Very unconvenient for the surfer that always lost track of where he/she was.
HERE'S WHAT I MEAN: Please go to: http://www.familleboutet.com/DC/bienvenue.html
- click on CHANSONS ET MUSIQUES on top of the page.
- Then click on SOLOS on the left menu
- You now have a list of songs on the right, scroll wayyyy down and choose one of the last songs by clicking on the little yellow musical note.
I know it must be very easy to fix, i just don't know how.
Thank you very much.

i notice your link is # which is a bookmark that points nowhere and may be it takes you to the top because of that
use # as a proper bookmark and see what happens
you have to look up on the net how to use bookmarks in HTML

That # was in the original script i use to open the pop up windows. If i remove it, the script just doesn't work so i have to keep it.
thanks anyway.

i understand that ... you need a link for the popup ... my idea is make the song title a bookmark and then use #song_title instead of # ... this way when someone clicks on it, the popup will appear and the browser will scroll down to the same part they clicked from ... i think this will work
serge

In the onClick event for each link add "return false;" (sans the quote marks).
Like this:
OnClick="window.open('../MP3/Daniel Casavant_Solo_IM FREE.html', 'titre', 'height=100, width=630'); return false;"
