Hey is there anyway to get these ads off my webpage? I'm designing a page for a gaming group and bravenet puts ads at the top and bottom of page, squishing my content and making what I designated as the top part of the page appear in the middle.
Maybe some kind of frames? Making the page as frames would hide them... or backfire and make them appear on all pages of the frame most likely.
Any ideas?

Didn't you ask this question last night? If so, the post was removed because it violates the forum rules. What you are trying to do is equivalent to piracy.
You "pay" for that hosting by allowing them to display advertising. The TOS specifically states: "You may not modify any other portion of our codes, including but not limited to advertising script, service copy/paste codes or any other Bravenet code, in any manner, for any reason whatsoever. "
If you don't want ads find a free host that does not have them or pay the $4 a month it would cost with a low-cost host.

I'm not modifying their code. I'm asking if anyone knows a way to make the page load in the middle so that what i specify as the top of the page becomes the top viewed. The viewer may still scroll up and see the advertisements and the ones at the bottom still show.
I'm not asking to magically remove them.

1. Bravenet advertisment Codes are for you to make money from peolpe using your own private web page that you have placed their codes into.
2. or your at the bravenet site which to my knowledge does nothing to help you enhance your design layout using their page they are just after the money and from my last experence with them don't really care how they get it.
if you want a free web site you need to do some research/location/location/location/research or just make your own.if your doing as in one(1) your stuck with them
if you place their code on your site, the code is set to track those that visit your site until/if ever/when they buy the product service that they unfortunatly clicked on at your site.
That places a cookie on their computer and emphasises their product to these unfortunate people every where they go, until they delete the cookie and never go back to your site.I'f as in two (2) your on their site don't expect to have them comply with your wishes it's nothing to do with their money making so why should they bother.
of course you could try using elaberate code to fence them into some part of your site but I'm sure it will faulter after some time, as they update their placement on your/or their site.I suggest to you to never incopperate any Bravenet stuff/adverts on your own site and just if you feel inclined make s advert site at their place for the money making deals.
that way you can have your SwEEtAS layout that you want and still maybe get some dollars now and then.till next place mdbobbo.
