Is it possiable to save a webpage? In essence, saving every file from their server to your hd? (Dont worry my intentions are good, I am trying to prove something to a freind about their sites Vulnerabilities. I have tried the simple ftp login with no sucess. I am trying to prove this to him so he will let me work on his webpage, as mine is slowly dying.

If you "Save Page As" in Firefox it allows you to download everything you need to view it normally. Such as all the pictures, css, etc.

but if it's:

saving every file from their server to your hd

including serverside files or htaccess files or things like that, then you have to admit to your friend that you were wrong ;)

unless ofcourse you have some access that not everyone on the internet can easily have (like ftp passwords).
