Ive done a website for someone using tables for the content. It is set to be viewable fine in 800x600 res. Someone said you can make the content resize to suit a larger resolution and make text etc bigger. I know you can set the tables to be a percentage of the screen size so they will stretch, but as far as text and images go, they will stay the same wont they, there is now way you can make text or image size increase when the resolution increases is there?

I'm not sure that you want to do this. People that use larger resolutions do that so they can get more info on the screen at one time. They don't mind the smaller text, images etc.
So if you make your site look the same on my 1280x960 as it does on a 800x600, then you've defeated my purpose in choosing 1280x960

one thing you can do is design web pages to be viewed by certain screen resolutions, and use javascript to redirect your visitor to the correct web page based on the screen resolution they are using
