Hello again.
Right now I'm in the process of building several large databases. Currently I'm building them in excel, then using a excel-to-mysql converter to import them into mysql. This is working relatively well but some fields that include long texts are not being imported properly. Also what's worse is that the export back into excel isn't working at all.
Since I can't seem to find a better converter I'm thinking of switching to Access as I believe there'll be better converters for access-to-mysql.
There may be a better way to do this and that's what I'm asking advice for.. What software do you suggest I use for for my purposes?
Can you give a little more information as to what the purpose is of using Excel and uploading/downloading the data to the database in that manner? It seems that you may be creating additional work for yourself.
Access would be the better solution for moving data back and forth from the database and Excel, but what is the database going to be used with?
