Automatic Webpage Scrolling

Specs: N/A, N/A
Hi all - am looking for an Webpage scroller that provides the same facility as the down arrow or mouse wheel, at a variable speed, easily determined and/or changed at run time by the user.

The o/s most likely would be Vista, then W2000.

The browser in descending order of use:-
Firefox, Chrome or IE8, 7 or 6.

In this instance, it would be used when a musician is playing music displayed on the screen, where the music continues downwards offscreen out of view.

Some music websites have scrolling built in, at the correct speed for the music displayed. Whereas others do not, requiring the musician to break off playing in order to page down, which you will appreciate is a pain. Thus such an add-on would be most beneficial.

Have tried googling before posting, yet this seems to throw up many hits for (webpage) developers rather than the end user.

Would think a facility, as described, should be included in ones browser as many would find it useful. However currently it appears not to be, and an add-on is required.

Thanks - Mike

Hi - I placed a similar post on 'The Lounge' and Btk1w1 supplied a recommendation and link to such.

The Mousestar application is perfect for the task and easy to use and adjust while in flight.

Regards - Mike
