Hi guys. I am a bit new with some mod rewrites. Can someone help me sort some out, just moved websites

here are the rules which i need help with:

oldsite.net --> newsite.net/landing.jsp
oldsite.net/page.jsp?x=y --> newsite.net/page.jsp?x=y

i really dont think mod rewrite should be used here.

you just need to setup a permanent redirect from your cpanel.

thanks for not helping.

i dont have cPanel. i am on a novell suse cluster, not shared hosting.

cPanel sets up a mod-rewrite rule anyway.

i have sorted now with a bit of trial and error
