I recently got my self a fancy website and im looking to add a very nice message board. They offer me a cheap forum, but i really dont like it. I DO NOT have mysql and it seems that with out it, your pretty much out of luck. But i thought i would put it out to the good people and see if they have anything to offer.
Again im looking for a good looking boards, something that will let me create topics and search for posts, stuff like that. and i do not have mysql.

True the most advanced boards use databasing but there are some that use flat files instead. Search google for flat file messageboards and you should find a few.
there are many more. I think one of the main advatages of databasing is it is easier to search the threads but dont quote me on that. Ive experimented with a few flat-file messageboards and their search capabilities seem somewhat slow. This wont be a huge problem for a smaller site though. Good luck.
