I have a user who is using Adobe GoLive, and it sometimes freezes on her.
I will have to rename the preference file (Adobe GoLive 7.prf) to resolve the problem. Is there a permanent fix for this so the application will not freeze again?

I have just installed GoLive vers 8.0.0 and am in the process of learning it. Seemed a little buggy, which is not unusual for WYSIWYG site builders. However, I couldn't even get the Find Text tool to work! Of course that is very basic. And very frustrating.

On a whim I tried turning off my virus program (happens to be ZoneAlarm). Sure enough, the Find Text now works without a hitch!

So there are conflicts between GoLive (at least vers 8.0.0) and some virus programs. Dunno if this is your user's problem, but I would certainly give it a try.

PS - It now turns out that my Find Text problem was not related to my virus program after all. But Adobe is looking into this -
