Good morning. I'm trying to add some files to my website for download. They are .aao files, maps for America's Army 2.8. Creators are starting to develop their own maps and I'm attempting to host them. Unfortunately, when anyone, myself included clicks on the link or tries to right-click save as, the files do not download.

Here's where the files are currently housed:

www.djdomonline.com/maps

Any help you can provide me in figuring out how they can successfully download these maps would be appreciated. Have a good day!

P.S. Yes the files are completely updated to the site via FTP. Most of the files are 4mb or larger, so I don't understand why they are only coming in at 4kb.

Well now the site won't come up all together. At one point everything worked fine but these downloads. I could download other files, but just not these ones. Now the whole site is down and I don't know why.

just guessing here as your link in your original post does not work

i had a look at the site you mentioned and this is what they used for the link code

FX CQB Bloodbath

"<"a href="http://www.fxarmyops.com/files/aamaps/FX_CQB_Bloodbath.aao" target="_blank" class="postlink">FX CQB Bloodbath</a">"

have you tried to use the same code appropriated to your site?

serge

ps the link above still works at making the file download

Yes, I have done that as well. The site is back up now. Zip files and any other file will download fine, but these .aao files will not.
