Hi all!
I have a problem regarding I/O file operations on a zFS shared filesystem.
If I create a file which size is 0, for example with the touch command, I'm not able to overwrite it in any way, but I can delete it. If the file is not 0-sized, I don't have any problems at all.
I have all the authorization needed and I saw this kind of behavior only on zFS partitions.
Any suggestions (zFS partition settings or other) ?

Every help would be very appreciated!!

Thanks in advance

Marion

According to Smita Thakur, zFS is only supported on Solaris and as of 15 September 2004, there are no plans to port it to AIX (or HP/UX). Are you sure your operating system is AIX?
