As per my last post I'm trying to bone hp-ux.
My q is what is widely used (preferably free download stuff but happy to at least here of the other products) in sysAdmin on hp sites. SAM is covered by the books. I've heard sifs and samba for windows inter-op - omnibak for backup - what else? Oh and I haven't seen any refs to HP-UX on Intel - I take it that it doesn't exist?

Add to list:
1 Glance Plus
2 Perview (need Xwindows)
3 HP Openview (for network node management)
Note:
SAMBA is a common packge (NFS) for Unix/Linux
but OMNIBACK is only for HP-UX
I don't know freely availability of the above products as they psecially designed for HP.
