Hi All.

I need to connect (network) a unix box to a hp printer. I'm doing
searches on this but I was wondering if anyone might know first hand.

You first have to define a "queue", which will be attached to a printing "device". Most Unix boxes do not have updated printer drivers, you have to find something compatible or similar, at least for graphics. Text worx.

For AIX use "smitty" HPUX use sam etc. Look the drivers CD of printer in case you have the driver for your OS
