Hi,

I'm working in a AIX 5.1. I'm runnig a process that stop due to a system signal. I have this message:

'Stopped (SIGTTIN) .....'

I'm executing the process in backgroud and nohup mode.

What can be the reason of this stop???, When the signal SIGTTIN stop a process?. Any idea??

Any advice will be greatly apreciatted

Nauj

Presumably it's trying to read from the terminal. but it can't and the default action for SIGTTIN is stop.

This indicates waiting for input while in background. You must provide more detail and what the failing process and the exact error message.
