Hi,
I am trying to attach a file(a.txt) and send it to my_id@xyz.com using mail command.
this is what I am using:

uuencode a.txt a.txt | mail my_id@xyz.com

After much trial and error I found that this works. Now I want to have a subject in my email. How to insert a subject in the command line?

I know this can be done by mailx -s "Subject", but i do not want to use mailx, since the attachment does not translate properly with mailx.

Can anyone help?

-Anukta
