Comment:

I am writing a UNIX script which creates XML by directing all output to an XML file. A file that i require to be written to XML will sometimes include the text <none> which is then mistaken as an XML tag, whereas it is just part of the file i am retreiving. In my UNIX script how can i escape this, i'm not sure what action i can take. So that maybe the word <none> is deleted before writing to XML or ignored somehow. Thanks.
