Comment: When I am trying to install Solaris, there is a part when it's asking whether the system will be networked or not. In my first installation I made it as "not networked" because I was thinking if I don't have LAN why it should be networked? Later when I was trying to configure dhcp (i was following instructions fron Sun's site), I wasn't able to find sysidcfg file. Is it because I answered "not networked" when I was installing the system? Or is it some other issue? Another question: how to start DHCP Manager? I didn't find it on my system. Thanks.

Reply: (edit)As root type sys-unconfig. You will be given the opportunity to redo the network question. If you would like to run a dhcp server on this box, have a look at the isc distribution available here: http://www.isc.org/products/DHCP/
