Subject: several unix questions
OS: UNIX
CPU/Ram: 900
Comment:

How can I check, on a Unix system, the number of network interfaces?
How to find out the IP address and netmask associated with network
interface?

A user complains that his or her machine has become quite slow, compared to its previous performance. What commands may be used to find why the machine slowed?

How can I check what dynamic libraries are needed to run the particular binary file on linux/solaris?

Thanks in advance

use ifconfig -a

That will give you the interfaces, the IP's assigned to them, netmasks and so on.

You can also use top to check processes and see how much CPU time, memory, etc they're using
