I am trying to connect my sco 5.x box to my windowsxp box but i am not sure really what to do. I currently have used netconfig and set up the ip on the sco box to be 192.168.100.1 and the ip on my windowsxp box to be 192.168.100.2 i am using a crossover cable to connect them but when i try to ping from the sco box i get a message "no route to host" I thought maybe there was something i should do with the add default route but i am not sure plz help.

try:

route add 0.0.0.0 192.168.100.1 /dev/net0

or replace net0 with whatever device port you are using.
