Hi Folks
I noted from the forum that a number of people are looking for the S3 Trio 3D2X driver software. Most of the links I tried, some 40-50 of them to download these drivers pointed to the same page that appears to have been removed.
However I did locate an idependent driver database at Lake Hardware www.izi.hu/driver.htm. These people seem to maintain a large database covering everything from Mice to Motherboard bios upgrades. The onley problem I found was the eratic download speeds during our download it varied from .4 to 2.8 Kbs. Despite this problem they are well worth a visit.

i have quite the same problem.
I've installed RedHat 6.2 on my IBM 300PL.
I've chosen VGA16 as Xserver.
It's possible to work in graphic mode but only with a 640*480 display (not really nice).
I've put the line 'vga=791' in my lilo.conf file. god configuraton in text mode but impossible to start gnome or KDE.
Could somebody explain me how to do (simply with many details, because i'm just a beginer).

I have the S3 Trio 3D/2X video drivers for Win95 and 98. They work very well. I do not know if this will work on WinMe or 2000, but you can try.
