rsh not working correctly

I can not rsh from host A to any of the other hosts (B, C, D, E). the rsh command does not give me any error, it just set there. But I can rsh to any host from all the other hosts without any problems. The .rhosts, /etc/hosts.equiv, /etc/hosts, /etc/services, /etc/inetd.conf files are all correct. Any assistance if appreciated.
