Comment:

I need to configure a public IP address on SCO OpenServer 5.0 5/5 (UNIX) so that I can remotely access this server over the internet.

How do I go about this?
Patrick.

Reply:

Use "ifconfig"

i.e. ifconfig eth0 inet 192.168.1.1 up

man ifconfig for exact syntax for your OS
