Hi All,
Here's the situation. Our company is having an internet connection from two ISPs-One is
the Cable internet connection and the other is an ISDN line. We are having both ISDN and cable
router. I am trying to set up a proxy server. I have a Linux Server set up as the HTTP proxy
server running Squid. Its default gateway is set to the port of Cable router so that any traffic
coming to the server is redirected to its default gateway.
Now i want to use the same server for ftp proxy but I want that all the request of clients to
pass through the ISDN router. Since the ISDN router is not the default gateway of the Proxy
Server, all the ftp traffic will also be passed through the Cable router(default gateway of the
Linux Server). Is there any way through which I can pass the ftp traffic through the ISDN router
while using the same proxy server. I guess it is possible through IPCHAINS forwarding rules but i
am not sure and dont know how to implement it.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
